Eurotruss filled two amazing days full of education and training upon invitation of our Middle East distribution partner Procom Middle East. The event took place at their new location in Dubai Silicon Oasis where a permanent Eurotruss display is installed, with 130 attendees the very first Eurotruss Academy was a big success. The two-day event was free to attend and at the end of both days participants were leaving educated, smiling and full of energy to share their knowledge amongst others.
After a word of welcome by the host and a short introduction of Eurotruss as a company, the Academy kicked off with several seminars and product demo’s. The schedule for each day covered: a class on Trusses, general knowledge, product training on Lifters, Stage Decks & Barriers and information about rigging materials & load calculations. Every subject was well embraced by the attendees. To conclude there was sufficient time to answer additional questions.

Besides the presentations and training from the Eurotruss Ola Melzig attended this first edition hosting a seminar about the amazing projects he has been involved with over the past decades.
Since the year 2000 Ola has been involved in the top management for most of the Eurovision Song Contest finals and has been appointed Head of Production for the upcoming 2018 edition in Lisbon, Portugal. The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the largest TV events with an average of 200 million live viewers!
